An upscale hotel restaurant in Manhattan is seeking a Sous Chef to support day-to-day kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is experienced in high-volume prep, banquet execution, and multi-station cooking. A strong team player with high attention to detail and the ability to follow safety and sanitation standards is preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience
- Banquet and event experience preferred
- Knowledge of cooking procedures and food safety
- Ability to handle high-volume prep
- Capable of lifting 25 lbs or more
- Team player with quality control skills
- Strong ability to execute dishes with accuracy and consistency
Salary
$75,000–$85,000 per year (based on experience)
