This high-end restaurant, supervised by a Michelin-starred chef, specializes in Omakase-style sushi, and is seeking a passionate professional who can deliver exceptional quality and consistency. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-end sushi, including nigiri, sashimi, and maki
• Execute Omakase-style multi-course menus with precision and creativity
• Maintain hygiene, food safety, and organized workstations
• Monitor inventory, portion control, and quality of ingredients
• Engage with guests, respond to requests, and support kitchen collaboration
• Mentor junior kitchen staff when needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of sushi experience (Omakase and high-end restaurant background preferred)
• Excellent knife skills and deep knowledge of fish and ingredient handling
• Basic English communication skills
• NYC Food Handler’s Certificate preferred
