A high-end restaurant in Manhattan is seeking a Sous Chef. The restaurant highlights Korean heritage with modern French culinary techniques, offering a  tasting menu. This is a hands-on role involving advanced prep, station leadership, and direct guest interaction. Ideal for a chef who is highly skilled, creative, and driven.

Key Fetches

  • Execute Refined Dishes That Meet High Presentation Standards
  • Oversee station operations and ensure quality control
  • Train and Mentor team members
  • Maintain food safety and food safety at your station
  • Contribute to menu development and inventory planning
  • Engage in guest-facing moments during service when required

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fine dining or Michelin-rated kitchen
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • NYC Food Protection License Preferred
  • Strong skills and communication skills
  • Excellent knife skills and food safety knowledge
  • Team player with leadership ability

Salary
$60,000 — $70,000 discussions (based on experience)

Work schedule
, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
