A luxury hotel in Manhattan, New York, is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the operations of its bar, lounge, and room service. This role involves ensuring high-quality service, managing inventory, training staff, and enhancing guest experiences. Candidates with strong expertise in mixology and wine & spirits are highly preferred.

Required Skills

  • Previous management experience in the food & beverage industry (required)
  • Expertise in wine, spirits, and mixology
  • Strong operational management experience in restaurants and bars
  • Experience in staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluation
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Inventory management and cost control experience
  • DOH Food Handler Certification & TIPS Certification (required or willing to obtain)
  • Familiarity with reservation and POS systems like Resy and Spot On (preferred)

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily bar and restaurant operations, ensuring top-tier service quality
  • Train and evaluate staff, managing work schedules
  • Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control
  • Build strong relationships with guests and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and execute events and promotional activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
