This role involves overseeing kitchen operations, maintaining culinary excellence, developing menus, and training staff. Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in high-end Japanese restaurants or omakase dining
  • Prior experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef
  • Expertise in ingredient selection and quality control
  • Strong background in menu development and cost management
  • Proven leadership and team training experience
  • Exceptional hospitality and communication skills
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, and safety compliance
  • Source and manage high-quality ingredients
  • Develop creative and innovative menu concepts
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring high performance and consistency
  • Monitor cost controls and implement strategies to maximize profitability
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Respond to guest feedback and continuously improve quality standards
  • Assist in the hiring and training of new kitchen team members
