Reporting to the Restaurant General Manager, this role oversees 15 front-of-house team members to ensure a seamless guest experience. The restaurant offers a contemporary interpretation of traditional Japanese culinary techniques, featuring an à la carte menu and an elegant Wagashi tea service in the afternoon.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of hospitality management experience
  • Experience in fine dining restaurants (Japanese dining experience preferred)
  • Strong team leadership and training abilities
  • Knowledge of cost control, revenue growth strategies, and quality assurance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance guest service standards and restaurant operations
  • Assist in training, evaluating, and motivating staff to optimize performance
  • Monitor food and service quality, ensuring consistency and compliance with company standards
  • Oversee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Implement marketing and upselling strategies to maximize revenue
  • Support recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of new team members
  • Act as the manager in their absence, ensuring smooth operations
