A Michelin-starred sushi restaurant in Manhattan is hiring a highly experienced Sushi Chef to lead its sushi operations. This full-time role requires over 10 years of experience in high-end sushi preparation, including omakase service, fish selection, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present premium nigiri, sashimi, and maki rolls
  • Curate and execute omakase-style multi-course menus
  • Manage ingredient sourcing, quality control, and inventory
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen
  • Train and supervise junior chefs and support staff
  • Interact with guests and accommodate special requests

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of sushi chef experience

  • Proven leadership and management skills in a kitchen setting

Salary
