We are seeking a Sushi Chef with strong leadership skills, teamwork, and the ability to handle high-volume orders in a fast-growing business. The ideal candidate must strictly adhere to recipe procedures, manage ingredients effectively, and uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a sushi restaurant
- Strong fish preparation skills (filleting, slicing, sashimi cuts)
- Ability to follow exact sushi-making procedures
- Strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Previous New York restaurant experience is a plus
- NYC Food Protection Course Certification (preferred)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare various sushi dishes (maki, temaki, nigiri, sashimi, poke, crudo)
- Handle and cut fish properly (filleting, slicing, sashimi preparation)
- Maintain ingredient quality and manage inventory
- Uphold strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Work efficiently and accurately in a high-paced environment
Working Hours
- Full-time (shift-based)
- Day Shift: 9 AM / 10 AM – 6 PM
- Night Shift: 6 PM – 2 AM / 3 AM
